Hey Folks! It’s me again, your friend Trip! I wanted to take this Holiday Season as an opportunity to share with each of you a personal motivational story.
For those of you who watch my tv show, The Trip Walton Show on BeeTV Network or our YouTube channel, know that I always do some sort of motivational where I encourage our viewers with various quotes, stories, and sayings. So, I wanted to take this Holiday Season as an opportunity to share with each of you more of a personal motivational story.
Challenges.
The beginning of this year, our firm experienced some challenges. First with an office wide Covid outbreak that caused some of our staff to become extremely ill, and then a staffing shortage, which any business owner will tell you, can be extremely stressful. I had an idea on how 2022 was going to go, but the first month in, things were not going as I had planned. However, Proverbs 16:9 reminded me that, “In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps.” Basically, we always end up where we are supposed to be, not where we planned to be.
The challenges we faced at the beginning of the year enabled us to expand our office staff, hiring three new employees who have fit into our work culture seemingly, bringing new energy and new ideas. We took a different approach when it came to our marketing and branding. We put a strong focus on our community outreach, partnering and volunteering with Boys & Girls Clubs, United Way, Kiwanis International, Big House Foundation, Food Bank of East Alabama, Salvation Army and countless other organizations, local school sports and local youth programs. We challenged ourselves to make every aspect of our Firm to reflect our slogans “We Don’t Start the Fight, We Finish It!” and being “Your Hometown Firm!”.
Success.
This year, 2022, our firm has enjoyed one of our best years to date. Not just in the number of personal injury claims, or the number the criminal defense clients we have helped, but in the overall cohesiveness of a wonderful team and staff who are like family to each other, and to me.
Without those challenges we faced at the beginning of the year, we would not be where we are today.
Trust the Process.
So, as 2022 comes to a close and we begin making our New Year’s Resolutions for 2023, I would like to take this opportunity to remind you, sometimes the best laid plans go astray. However, do not lose confidence, use the challenges in your life to your advantage and as Alabama Head Football Coach, Nick Saban, would say “Trust the Process!”
I hope your home is filled with Joy this Christmas and New Year!
With Best Regards, I am
Sincerely Yours,
Trip Walton
